Lufthansa Prolongs Cancellation of Flights to Tel Aviv
A spokesperson for the German aviation giant confirmed to media that daytime-only scheduling will remain in effect for Israeli routes. "Until Tuesday, February 3, Lufthansa Group flights to and from Tel Aviv will operate as daytime flights," the representative stated. "This means that crews will return directly without staying overnight."
The carrier has scrapped all Tehran-bound services through March 28—coinciding with the winter timetable's conclusion—attributing the decision to operational considerations. Lufthansa Group aircraft will continue circumventing Iranian and Iraqi airspace, though portions of Bahrain's airspace have been cleared for resumed use.
According to the spokesperson, the airline maintains active surveillance of regional developments and plans to reevaluate operational parameters in upcoming days. Passengers impacted by schedule modifications will receive automatic rebooking, with the company initiating direct communication regarding alternative arrangements.
